Kawish Cluster G.M. Khan (GMK) Inauguration at FATA-KPK:

Alhamdulillah KWT moving on the way of success by the grace of ALLAH with the support of our partners / well-wishers to serve humanity in far flung areas.
Location & Demographics:
We have established GMK Kawish Cluster named on the local legend Ghulam Muhammad Khan on December 04, 2013. Cluster chief patron is Shabbir khan Sb from Peshawar. The cluster would include a health care clinic, eye surgery in collaboration with Human Relief Foundation, building of Mosque Harris, Iqra schools & Microfinance (Later in collaboration with Akhuwat). The place is 50 minutes drive from Chashma Beraj on the junction of Kurram river & Mighty Indus (17 km Easa khel-Lakki road). The name of place is called Thanedar wala (Darrae Tung). Local community members are loyal, hardworking but belong to poorest back ground.
We are indebted to Mr. Arslan Khan, Mr. Saddiq Khan Sb, Mr. Jalil ur Rehman Sb for providing us Excellent logistics services, provision of fantastic rooms beside monetary support. We also acknowledge invaluable support of Kh Abdul Basit, Mr. Arshad, dr Asif (eye Surgeon) (Human Relief Foundation) and KWT Team members from Peshawar (Dr. Atiq ur Rehman , Zia & Qaiser), for their respective time & effort at inauguration ceremony.
Health clinic & eye Camp:
On first day, 155 eye OPD were treated & 27 surgical patients were operated later at HRF center 17 km away. Now, we are receiving 30 patients per day on an average and clinic is open 03 hours every day. There is no health care services available in a 30 km diameter. We have procured cement with this amount and with available balance and dispatched in kind support to Dr. Asif Jah Sb relief camp. Dr. Asif Jah and his team members are actively involved in construction of 100 rooms worth Rs 125,000 each with bricks made from block making machines to reduce costs. Room dimensions are 12x14 ft.

Eye camp at FATA KPK:

These faces of poor tells us painful stories. Their contented life is full of all sorts of compromises. Eye surgeries should have been done ages back but due to lack of knowledge, money, mobilization factor (Old men & women) and health facility; it somehow got delayed. Kawish welfare Trust has started Eye camp & General Medical Camp once per month at GMK cluster in collaboration with Human Relief Foundation (HRF). In last venture, OPD (155 numbers) & surgeries (27 numbers) were absolutely free inclusive of post surgical costly medicines for one week duration.
Health clinic will remain opened 03 hours every day. May Allah give reward to respective partners. Please join us to help the community. One eye surgery costs Rs 3500.

Visit of ITU Students:

Team of Information Technology University (ITU), from Arfa Kareem Tower, visited our Bahawalnagar Cluster (BNG). This would help connecting deprived people in rural areas with highly skilled personnel (Health & Education) in Urban areas (even oversees) for getting long lasting benefits.
Volunteers of different groups shall connect remote operational sites at Sargodha, Raheem yar Khan, Vehari & Lakki with Hub in Lahore. This would help long distance interactive productive sessions on Education & Health for the grooming of our staff members and providing guidance on day to day issues.
We are obliged to the faculty of Department of Computer Science of ITU for considering Kawish premises worthy of their cause & source of educational activity for their volunteers. Also, we thank Dr. Izhar Hashmi & Mr Saleem Ranjha (Akhuwat-Pakistan) for integration of like minded organizations for human growth.
